Charitable Event: The Collins Group Realty (“CGR”) 2023 200th Home Sale Commission Event is a promotional activity intended to benefit non-profit organizations located and serving the communities in the greater Hilton Head Island/Bluffton areas of Beaufort or Jasper County, South Carolina.  As a promotional and charitable event, CGR shall donate $10,000 upon the closing of its 200th real estate transaction during the 2023 calendar year. For the purposes of this Event, the term “home sale” refers to any closed transaction conducted by Collins Group Realty (home, villa, land, boat slip, commercial property, etc.).

Eligibility: To be eligible for nomination or to apply, a non-profit organization must be fully and properly licensed and lawfully authorized to do business as a charitable organization in Beaufort or Jasper County, South Carolina.  A Qualified Charitable Entity must be properly established and operating as a 501(c)(3), non-profit entity pursuant to local codes and regulations, as well as State and Federal Tax laws. CGR shall receive the business/commercial/tax benefit(s), if any, arising out of the Event/donation.

Preference will be given to first-time winners. Operating costs, religious/political initiatives, and scholarships are excluded from grant consideration.

The Grand Award and Second Award will range from $2,000 up to $6,000.  The amount awarded will be determined by the 200th Home Sale Grant Selection Committee.

The Third Award of $2,000 will be awarded by popular vote. The Grant Selection Committee will select 10 finalists for the popular vote. The 10 finalists will have 30 days to submit a 2-minute video describing their grant request for voter consideration.

Video Submission: The top 10 non-profits selected by the grant selection committee will have 30 days to create and submit a 2-minute, low-to-no-budget video, that summarizes the mission of their organization and their proposed project.
