Melanie Wynne

Melanie Wynne's first encounter with Hilton Head Island occurred when her husband introduced her to the Lowcountry, where his parents resided in Sea Pines at the time. Captivated by the island's stunning beaches and abundant sea life, Melanie quickly fell in love with Hilton Head Island where the happy couple married in 1996.
Together with her husband Jeff, who is also a Collins Group Real Estate agent, Melanie made the move to the Lowcountry in 2012, leaving their Dallas, Texas origins behind. The allure of a smaller community offering a more natural and outdoorsy lifestyle proved irresistible, prompting their relocation. Melanie remains in awe of the region's natural surroundings, finding joy in observing the birds and deer that frequent her own backyard.
Melanie's daughter, Alexandra, completed her education at Hilton Head Preparatory school before attending the College of Charleston, where she earned her degree in Arts Management. Alexandra is on the verge of obtaining her Interior Design certificate from Parsons School of Design. Meanwhile, Melanie's son, Cameron, graduated from Heritage Academy and gained valuable experience as a stage manager intern at the Arts Center of Coastal Center. Cameron currently pursues his studies at the University of Central Florida, working towards a B.A. in Stage Management.
For the past 11 years, Melanie dedicated herself to teaching on the island, serving as a Learning Specialist at Heritage Academy and instructing 4th and 5th graders at Hilton Head Preparatory School. Following her retirement from teaching after 23 years, Melanie's passion for the community, her fascination with real estate, and her desire to help others make their dream of living on Hilton Head a reality, she made the decision to become a licensed real estate agent.
During her leisure time, Melanie indulges in activities such as beach outings, travel, and reading. She enjoys volunteering, foreign films, puzzles, crosswords, pickleball, fitness, and quality moments with her family and their three rescued dogs. When the whole family convenes, they often spend time on the pickleball court, attend local art and music festivals, and enjoy family game nights.
As a dedicated University of Texas Longhorn fan and Alumni, Melanie's loyalty to her alma mater remains unwavering. She eagerly anticipates the university's forthcoming entry into the SEC and the opportunity to witness their competition with USC.
