Chris has family ties to Hilton Head Island dating back to the 1950s and has been a part of this Island (in some form or fashion) since birth! Hilton Head became his permanent home 30 years ago after graduating from Clemson University with a BS degree in Business Management (Real Estate). Chris began his professional career in Hilton Head as a real estate appraiser back in the late 1990s, specializing in the Hilton Head and Bluffton residential markets. And for the past 23 years, he has been actively consulting and selling in our local markets as a Real Estate Broker.
Collins Group Realty understands that strategic pricing and compelling marketing are both paramount in achieving the impressive results that listing clients expect, so Chris joined the group back in 2014 as the Client Market Advisor which turned into the Strategic Advisor role in 2019.
Chris is exceptionally passionate about his work for our clients and is aligned with Chip Collins as part of the Hilton Head Island listings team. This team-based approach to listing and selling real estate is like no other approach that we have ever seen. And it works! Chris’s wife of 30 years, Wendy, is also part of the exceptional staff at Collins Group Realty. They have a yellow lab, Mae, and three sons, Weston, Chase, and Griffin. Chris is passionate about the outdoors and loves every opportunity to be out on the water, having once held a Master Captains License. He enjoys oysters by the fire, hiking with his dog, hunting, fishing, and, of course, a little tennis, golf, and pickleball! And when asked about what matters most, Chris would say that his life is Christ-centered and his love for his family is immeasurable.
