13th Annual Polar Bear Swim – Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island. The Sea Pines Resort will hold their annual Polar Bear event tomorrow at 10am in the Harbour Town pool. Complimentary hot cocoa and refreshments will be served after the swim. https://www.seapines.com/events/

6th Annual Pelican Plunge – Hunting Island State Park. For those wishing to spend New Year’s Day north of the Broad river, Hunting Island State Park will hold their Pelican Plunge extravaganza. More than just a plunge into the chilly waters of Lighthouse Beach, the event also includes a costume parade, chimenea fires, hot beverages, games and music and more. Tybee Polar Plunge – Tybee Island, Georgia. For those of you looking to escape South Carolina, head over to Tybee Island for their annual Polar Plunge event. Take a dip into the Atlantic Ocean at noon on New Year’s Day and enjoy a fun “Gang of Goofs” parade and contest. The cost to participate is $25 for adults and $15 for kids under 12.
