HOTSHEET SUMMARY FROM LAST WEEK:
- LISTINGS: 113 listings were added to our local markets last week.
- CONTRACTS: 106 residential properties moved to pending status last week.
- CLOSED SALES: 89 closed sales were reported last week.
Home listings under $500,000 were the most active category last week accounting for 79% of all the pending sales.
Although no listings in the $1,000,000 and up category went under contract last week, an oceanfront home in North Forest Beach CLOSED for $2,900,000. This was the highest reported sale in Forest Beach since 2010!
Collins Group Realty brokered 10% of ALL the single family homes that went under contract last week in the Hilton Head and Bluffton markets.
As inventory begins to tighten up in some areas of Southern Beaufort County, we have recently noted a few interesting scenarios that can be a reflection of an improving market, such as more seller requests for “highest and best” offers (due to competing contracts), and the average Days on Market has been gradually trending down.
