Collins Group Realty announced today their new charitable fund, Community Results Project, a fund of Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, and launched their 2021 project, a partnership to help bolster the efforts of Deep Well’s Livable Housing Program.
Collins Group Realty’s Community Results Project will act as the new umbrella for the real estate company’s existing philanthropic activities including their annual 200th Home Sale for Charity, Food Drives, Toy Drives, their two Community Vehicles, and the new annual fundraising project.
Through the remainder of 2021, the efforts of the Community Results Project will include educating the community about the needs right here in our area to provide safe and livable housing to those who may not be able to afford minor and major home repairs without assistance, as well as fundraising to help make these projects possible.

Deep Well is a local, 501(c)(3) organization that addresses the basic needs of their clients, while working with them long term, to foster greater self-sufficiency. Through their Livable Housing Program, Deep Well utilizes local volunteers and contractors to repair and improve housing conditions where safety is a real concern or when there has been a sudden change in medical needs.
In 2020, volunteers were limited to exterior only repairs due to COVID. Now that the opportunity for interior repairs is opening up, and with the steeply rising cost of building materials, the need is greater than ever.
