New Podcast a Tribute to Hilton Head’s History and Community

Recently we stumbled upon a new podcast, not just any podcast, one of real quality. 278 to Lighthouse Road, aptly named because well, it’s the only road onto the Island, and also because it ushers in excitement and anticipation to those on their way to their long-awaited and cherished vacation destination.

The podcast’s creator and host, Jay McCain, has spent years doing just that. His family has owned property on Hilton Head Island since 1973. Returning to their primary homes in Pennsylvania and Louisville but drawn back year after year to enjoy the beautiful Lowcountry scenes and weather.

To date, 278 to Lighthouse Road has 9 episodes with interviews featuring folks who helped shape the culture and community of the area over the years.
