Each spring, the South Carolina Association of School Administrators recognizes a few schools that offer “excellent instruction and outstanding leaders, augmented by strong family community involvement and a supportive business community.” The key question throughout the selection process is, “What impact is this school making on the lives of the students and the community?”
This spring, our very own Red Cedar Elementary School in Bluffton was selected as one of Palmetto’s Finest! In the past four years, the school has improved their School Report Card from Average to Good to Excellent.
“It’s absolutely awesome to receive this top recognition,” said Principal Kathy Corley. “Our motto is ‘Whatever it takes.’
