December 2016 Hilton Head/Bluffton Market Report

January 18, 2017

Even though it’s the middle of January already, we don’t think it’s ever passé to say “Happy New Year!”  Here’s hoping it’s been great so far…

In the Lowcountry market area, the new year kicked off nicely as buyers got busy looking at opportunities almost immediately on 1/1…and the pace has been steady since.

Inventory remains low, although we expect to see a good amount of listings added to the market over the coming months.

Storm cleanup continues at an impressive pace given the volume of tree debris, and before we know it the RBC Heritage along with a myriad of springtime fests will be upon us.

In all, the 2017 outlook is very positive.  There’s a confidence and buzz here in the new year that hasn’t existed in awhile…so look for this to be a strong year of sales.
