Hello from the gang at CGR:
Before I start, let me just say it’s in the upper-80’s and humid on HHI – seems Summer wants to stick around, and we’re not complaining!
Speaking of Summer months…let’s just take a quick study of this August vs. last August:
• The number of NEW LISTINGS put on the market in the month is DOWN nearly 17%;
• The number of PENDING SALES is UP over 17%;
• The number of CLOSED SALES is UP nearly 22%;
• Average DAYS ON MARKET is down nearly 13%;
• MEDIAN SALES PRICE is UP nearly 20%;
• INVENTORY is down over 20%.
Every single stat is headed in the RIGHT DIRECTION…and we are looking/hoping for more and more of it. The market is WANTING to change directions…and it is doing a nice job of working its way there.
How about helping out?!! Tell a friend that trends are positive on HHI (PLUS, rates are super low!) and now is a great time to be looking at our marketplace.
