The Island looks spectacular right now, following the adage that April showers bring May flowers – or, more so in our case, blossoming Oak trees! The island is awash in green foliage, and just looks amazing…

As with the foliage, the marketplace seems to be blooming as well, after a slightly stinted 1st quarter from the extended winter conditions in much of the country. But, purchasers are back in our market area in strong supply, and properties are going under contract across a wide array of price-points, including the upper-end, which was particularly-quiet in the 1st quarter.

The Bluffton marketplace has been nicely outpacing the island-proper, with 72% of home sales taking place in Bluffton in the month of March. The popularity of newer construction and a compelling price-point seems to be driving that market nicely.
