Happy Holidays!I hope this edition of the CGR Market Pulse finds you doing well and enjoying the holiday season! At CGR, we find ourselves busily helping people put property under contract while at the same time working hard to get year-end closings squared away.We are quickly approaching 300 clients that we have helped this year, making it a blessed year in the real estate business for CGR! As for the overall market, trends are pretty consistent with years passed…new listings are on the decline through the end of the year, while pending sales are up and down, depending on the week. Closed sales are the big story in that they are up 44% from this time last year…and, in those closed sales, days on market are down 7% while the Sales Price/List Price ratio is up to over 95%!! Look for 2013 to start off with a couple of very robust months, setting the tone for what I think should be a great year of progress and recovery in our local real estate market.
