Happy Thanksgiving!
There continues to be a lot to be thankful for in the overall Hilton Head Island marketplace, as demonstrated in our latest Market Pulse report. Listing volume is down (along with overall inventory), pending sales are up (34% in October 2011, in fact, over October 2010), and closed sales are up (over 8% YTD compared to 2010).
One thing is certain: Real estate is LOCAL! HHI is outpacing all other markets in South Carolina, and we are certainly a rare hot-spot in the national picture as well. As we track the large increase in people looking at HHI (and surrounding market-area) real estate ON-LINE, this really comes as no surprise. We’ve got something unique and valuable here…and more and more people want to own a piece of it.
